Travelled to Nice on a girls weekend and absolutely loved it. Such a pretty place and so close to so many other great places. We flew on a Friday night with easyJet and returned late Monday night. In this short space of time we managed to have a lovey day exploring Nice, go on a trip to Eze and Monaco with a private driver/guide and spend a wonderful day at one of the many beach clubs!
We stayed at the Hyatt and it was great. We chose this hotel for its location and also the fact it has a pool. We initially wanted to stay at the Negresco but we visited there for a drink instead.
Top things to do:
- Promenade des Anglais
- Vieille Ville
- Nice Cathedral
- Cours Saleya Market
- Explore the amazing beach clubs
- Take a day trip to Eze and or Monaco

Nice old town is beautiful, modern yet traditional and full of life and vibrant colours. You could wander the streets all day, shop at the markets and stop for some food and drinks at the countless cafes, restaurants and bars.

The Negreco is iconic Nice and we stopped by one evening for some cocktails. It was expensive but worth every penny.
On the Sunday we were picked up at our hotel at 9am by a private guide which we had booked in advance through Tour Azur. We had the driver for 4 hours and he extended our trip by about an hour so we could spend a bit more time. We visited Eze and Monaco.

Some pictures from Monaco below. The first one is me outside the casino in Monte Carlo.

On the Monday we checked out of the hotel, stored our bags as we were getting a late flight home and spent the day at Castel Plage one of many great beach clubs in Nice. It was such a nice way to spend our last day in the sun. The food and drinks were great and reasonable for the setting and to top if off the service was really great. We booked in advance and on the day it was totally full so might be an idea if you are planning to visit.
